Hello friends! It's another hot, beautiful summer day in Texas - oh and did I mention it was hot!? Well, step out of the heat and get excited about my "cool" news! The Bride's Room is so excited to announce that we will be adding Legends by Romona Keveza to our collection and they gowns will arrive at the end of September!

This collection is absolutely phenomenal! Designed with a couture eye to detail and constructed with the finest silks and laces, these gowns are every bride's dream come to life! With details such as crumb catchers and jeweled belts and Swarovski buttons, these gowns are feminine, elegant, and sophisticated.

Cheers to Leanne and West! June 16, 2012

Happy Wednesday! We had a very exciting weekend - my brother West proposed to his girlfriend Leanne on Saturday night! We couldn't be happier for them! Read on to see how West gave Leanne the surprise of her life!

In true Gotcher fashion, West wanted to plan some sort of out of this world surprise engagement for Leanne - we grew up with Dad always doing awesome surprise things for Mom. So, he decided to throw an amazing engagement party for Leanne on Saturday July 16 for friends and family at one of their favorite restaurants in Houston, El-Real. For the actual proposal, he had a beautiful table set up on the landing of the stairs that lead to the party room at the Restaurant. On the table were flowers and a gorgeous picture frame that read:

What Leanne didn't know until that night is that West and her mother had booked the church, the country club, and the photographer before the engagement ever happened so she would get to fulfill her dream of being a June bride!

With the restaurant cheering West on, he got down on one knee and asked Leanne to be his wife. After she (or course!!) said yes, they came up to the party room to celebrate with all of their closest friends and family!

Melissa and Wynn Tucker, February 19, 2011

When Melissa Mahaffey and Wynn Tucker married, they celebrated their vows in true Ft. Worth style! The ceremony took place at Robert Carr Chapel on TCU's campus. It has a subtle, traditional elegance which was the perfect backdrop for this winter affair. The bride was radiant as she was led down the center aisle by her father. With an added touch of whimsy in the bridesmaids' dresses, Melissa's vision came to life! After a perfect ceremony, the celebration continued at Colonial Country Club. The guests were greeted by spectacular flower arrangements of all shapes and sizes to complement the rest of the decor. The guests were entertained by an amazing band and danced the night away! Congratulations, Melissa and Wynn!

I hope that you loved peeking inside Melissa and Wynn's wedding! Best of luck to this sweet couple!
