Cheers to Leanne and West! June 16, 2012

Happy Wednesday! We had a very exciting weekend - my brother West proposed to his girlfriend Leanne on Saturday night! We couldn't be happier for them! Read on to see how West gave Leanne the surprise of her life!

In true Gotcher fashion, West wanted to plan some sort of out of this world surprise engagement for Leanne - we grew up with Dad always doing awesome surprise things for Mom. So, he decided to throw an amazing engagement party for Leanne on Saturday July 16 for friends and family at one of their favorite restaurants in Houston, El-Real. For the actual proposal, he had a beautiful table set up on the landing of the stairs that lead to the party room at the Restaurant. On the table were flowers and a gorgeous picture frame that read:

What Leanne didn't know until that night is that West and her mother had booked the church, the country club, and the photographer before the engagement ever happened so she would get to fulfill her dream of being a June bride!

With the restaurant cheering West on, he got down on one knee and asked Leanne to be his wife. After she (or course!!) said yes, they came up to the party room to celebrate with all of their closest friends and family!

 As you can see, it was a fabulous party in honor of an amazing couple! I wish you both the absolute best things and am so excited to have a new sister!!
